Service Terms & Scope
Updated 20 October 2026. These general terms explain our service framework. Before paid work begins, the written proposal or service agreement identifies the contracting party, scope, fees and project-specific conditions. Any project-specific variation should be expressly recorded in that agreement.
1 · Assessment and paid work
An initial assessment does not commit either party to a paid project. Work begins after scope, deliverables, fees and required approvals are agreed in writing, and any agreed initial payment is received.
2 · Product funds and fees
Product purchase funds and service fees are identified separately. Samples, testing, inspections, travel, freight, insurance, duties, taxes and third-party charges are included only when the written scope says so. Managed purchasing has a $500 minimum service fee unless a different arrangement is expressly agreed.
3 · Buyer approvals
The buyer provides accurate requirements and confirms product specifications, supplier selection, costs, payment stages and shipment instructions as required. Material scope changes need a revised written agreement on cost and timing.
4 · Supplier checks and inspection limits
Verification and inspection cover the agreed checks and available evidence. Sampling does not guarantee every unit, and supplier statements need appropriate corroboration. Certification, laboratory testing and destination-market compliance require their own agreed scope and qualified providers where needed.
5 · Timelines and shipment decisions
Timelines depend on the confirmed scope, supplier cooperation, buyer approvals and logistics conditions. Shipment recommendations follow the agreed inspection criteria. Actual authority to hold or release goods must be established in the purchase arrangements.
6 · Problems, cancellation and refunds
Report a concern with the relevant scope and supporting evidence to [email protected]. Our published Service Guarantee and Refund Policy explains correction, termination, reconciliation and refunds. Refund percentages relate to the affected service fee; product funds and third-party costs are reconciled separately under that policy.
7 · Project-specific contracting details
The written service agreement should confirm confidentiality, ownership of custom work, responsibilities for import requirements, payment stages, dispute handling and any other terms needed for the project. This webpage does not establish escrow, product insurance or an unconditional guarantee of supplier performance.
